KIBBLED
MAIZE
Starch Feed.
Kibbled Maize is an energy-dense feed sourced from locally grown New Zealand maize. It provides a high starch feed that is slower to degrade in the rumen than cooked grains. It is an ideal product to blend with Palm Kernel Expeller and other safe feeds to provide a balanced, energy-dense feed option post-calving.
Typical Analysis
– Dry Matter 86-90%
– Energy (ME) 13-14MJ/KgDM
– Crude Protein 8-12%
– NDF 8-13%
– Starch 70-75%
Note: Typical analysis only, not specification.
Use And Application
Requirements will differ depending on current diet. It is recommended you feed 0.5kg–2kg/ cow/day and use as part of a blended ration to increase starch and energy levels of the feed. Due to high starch levels,
there is a risk cows could gorge and overfeed, leading to acute rumen acidosis.
Storage And Handling
Store in a dry area, away from bird and rodent
infestation.
