Use And Application
Corn gluten feed is a major feed ingredient in ruminant diets, particularly for beef and dairy cattle.
Corn gluten feed can be a substitute for grains, such as maize grain. Corn gluten feed has medium palatability and may be included in the grain mixture up to a level of 50% or fed to cows at a rate of up to 5kg per cow per day.
Consult your nutritionist or farm consultant to determine the optimal inclusion level for your particular situation.
Storage And Handling
Like all feedstuffs, corn gluten feed should be stored dry, in bulk bins or placed on cement slabs (away from vermin and protected from the weather).
